AccuReg, the leader in front-end revenue cycle technology, congratulates COHAM on the formation of the organization’s first Women in Patient Access Committee, which was created to provide collaboration and mentoring opportunities for women. (Click here for full release.)

The mission of the committee is to promote the empowerment of women within Patient Access by providing leadership development opportunities. The following are the founding members of the Women in Patient Access Committee:

“Women have always played a key role in Patient Access, performing the key function of registering patients while also providing the human interaction that makes patients feel at ease,” says Joan Whittaker, Solutions Consultant, AccuReg Software.

AccuReg is pleased two of its employees, Ms. Whittaker and Ms. Williamson, were asked to serve on the committee, based on their decades of experience working with Patient Access teams across the country, helping bring best practices to hospitals and implement innovative technology solutions.
